Makes me laugh that dippy birds have got all their blokes eating margarine because it's 'healthier' than butter.
Not only does it taste of shit, but it's full of shit, chemicled up to the eyeballs. Butter is just fat, sometimes with some oil.

Depends what sort of fat. Of course, some people are more resilient to these things than others.

The more natural and less processed the better Cheese and Butter is all good, but you are not supposed to eat tons of it. There is an old lady Turkish professor/doctor who has been telling people this for over 30 years, eggs too are good all natural foods are good. The killers are bread pasta rice sugar.

Goose, that sounds disgusting but I've heard of it before. What's the point of it? Seem to remember it was some sort of fat burner?

its really nice!! like a very creamy coffee.
its quite popular on the with paleo diet people, i believe it encourages your body to use its fat stores as energy.
this obvs wont work if you have a bowl of cornflakes with it.

Re: You can eat butter

It's old news that opinion now is that butter is better than margarine due the trans fats that the latter contains. This has been known to be so for at least 10 years or so.
The recent news story is that the science from 40 years ago that was used to advise people not to eat fats was flawed because it was based on too small a sample. However, the advice remained largely valid despite the bad science.

Re: You can eat butter

The problem being most peoples diets are mainly Carbs , Bread , Potatoes , Rice ,Pasta , noodles. with a bit of meat and no vegetable. It actually helps to avoid this stuff by not being in the UK. Bread and Potatoes were my staples as a kid and apart from a bit of German Black bread now and again I don't really eat either. Rice , Noodles , Pasta , take it or leave it in UK so can leave it here no problem
They need people to it shitty processed cheap carbs , because its cheap and mass produced, they cannot provide the same amount of Protein . People have been conned for years with this low fat bollocks

My nana ate proper butter, salted everything, used oils and cooked "proper" dinners including fried chips. Plus she used to have a crafty fag in the kitchen.
She lived until she was 101 and was still cooking at 99 1/2.
Its all about mixing your diet and using decent ingredients.
